New Set Mechanic: Unlocks As you play, you’ll take on small objectives that let you unlock powerful new champions to join your roster. Once you’ve unlocked a champion, they’re added straight into the pool and the moment you refresh your shop, you’re guaranteed to see them waiting to jump in. There are 40 champions you can unlock in total, and mastering all of them comes with special rewards for finishing in the top four with each one. Step into the set, chase every unlock, and build your legend one champion at a time.

On cast, cycle through one of the following abilities: Slash in a line, dealing 150/225/2400 + 20/30/100 (AD & AP) physical damage to enemies hit and 20% Sundering them for 4 seconds. Swipe in a cone, dealing 150/225/2400 + 20/30/100 (AD & AP) physical damage to enemies hit and knocking them up for 1 second. Slam on target, dealing 150/225/2400 + 20/30/100 (AD & AP) physical damage in a 1 hex circle. Targets below 0.15% max Health are executed.

Lore & Legends ushers in TFT’s largest and most diverse cast yet, with 100 new Champions drawn from every corner of Runeterra’s stories. This time, you won’t just recruit champions you’ll unlock them. As you play, completing in-game objectives lets you open access to powerful new units, including rare 7-cost Legends. Once unlocked, a champion is added to the pool, and you’re guaranteed to see them in your first shop refresh. With 40 total champions to unlock and special rewards for placing top 4 with each one, there’s always a new goal to chase. Alongside these unlockables, Lore & Legends also introduces Combined Champions unique units that bring together two kits in a single body. You’ll see pairings like Kobuko & Yuumi or Lucian & Senna, letting you explore playstyles that blend abilities in fun, unexpected ways. And of course, new faces like Zaahen and Yunara join the roster to round out this massive set of legends. It’s the most ambitious Champion lineup TFT has ever had dive in and discover every story waiting to be told.
In Lore & Legends, the new 7-cost Champions are the crown jewels of the set. These rare units aren’t just strong they feel like legends you’ve earned. You’ll unlock them by completing in-game objectives, and once a 7-cost Champion opens up for you, they’re added to the pool and guaranteed to show up in your very next shop refresh. Each one brings a level of power and flair that can completely reshape a fight, making every unlock feel like a milestone moment in your game.

Set 16 brings in over 140 new Augments, pushing the total pool to a massive 350+ options the most we’ve ever had. With so many combinations to explore, no two games will feel the same. And yes, Team-Up Augments are back, letting you craft even wilder strategies with your favorite champion duos.

Lore & Legends is also bringing fresh cosmetics to explore. You can collect two new Unbounds, God-King Darius and K/DA Ahri. There is a new Prestige Blood Moon Miss Fortune Chibi and a new Prestige Dark Cosmic Lux Chibi, each with their own style and flair. You will also find Paris-themed versions of Choncc and Pengu, along with matching arenas that capture the city’s charm. Take a look at everything waiting for you.
