Stage 2
Play for win streak, ideally with Timebreaker but that will be rare because units are weaker on average. Slam items aggressively.
Stage 3
If win streaking, prioritize playing strongest board over greeding econ traits. Upgraded 2 and 3 costs are often better than 1* high tier units here.
Stage 4
If very healthy, go to 8 and roll minimally to preserve HP / sac to level 9. If mid HP, roll a good amount to stabilize before pushing to 9 in Stage 5+.
